For over ten years, ATINUDA has been instrumental in fostering dialogue at the crossroads of leadership, creativity, and entrepreneurship throughout Africa. As it enters its sixth year, ATINUDA is making a significant transition from conventional conference settings to carefully curated environments aimed at fostering deep reflection.
Scheduled from March 8 to March 14, 2026, ATINUDA 6.0: The Elevation will unfold in Mauritius, designed as an exclusive Leadership and Creativity Retreat for some of Africa's most purposeful founders, executives, creatives, and builders within various ecosystems.
This initiative is distinctly different from an ordinary conference; it represents an evolution of the platform.
From Visibility to Alignment
Launched in 2015 by Ayiri Oladunmoye, ATINUDA is a Pan-African platform dedicated to leadership, creativity, and entrepreneurship, aimed at raising standards and fostering environments shaped by excellence, intention, and adherence to global best practices throughout Africa's creative and event sectors.
The initiative has historically gathered influential figures from various fields, including renowned professionals like Preston Bailey, David Tutera, Marcy Blum, Ron Ben-Israel, and Diann Valentine, alongside prominent African voices such as Stephanie Busari, TY Bello, Tokunbo George-Taylor, Obafemi Banigbe, and Jennifer Odunfuwa, all of whom have played a crucial role in establishing ATINUDA as a credible and standards-focused gathering space.
However, as the ecosystem evolved, so too did the requirements of its leaders.
Merely being visible was insufficient, and access was no longer the ultimate objective.
What leaders sought now were clarity, alignment, and deep comprehension.
Why Mauritius?
The selection of Mauritius was a deliberate choice; the island is neutral, globally esteemed, and offers a serene atmosphere. Its very rise from the ocean floor symbolizes the event's theme, The Elevation.
