Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took to social media to humorously address speculation regarding his alleged death. This response came against a backdrop of heightened tensions in the region due to Israel’s ongoing military engagements with Iran and its allies.

In a video posted on his official account on X, Netanyahu was captured enjoying a cup of coffee at a café in Jerusalem while he poked fun at the death rumors.

"I’m dead for coffee," he jokingly remarked, referencing a popular Hebrew phrase denoting a strong affection for something.

Additionally, he responded to assertions that a recent broadcast of him had been artificially generated, after viewers pointed out that he seemed to have six fingers on one hand. Netanyahu raised his hands to the camera and quipped: "Do you want to count the number of fingers?"

Despite the light-hearted banter, the Israeli leader reminded the public to remain vigilant and follow safety protocols during periods of rocket warnings as security concerns linger.

"You give strength to me, to the government, to the army, to the Mossad," he added, Alluding to Israel’s intelligence service.

In his video message, Netanyahu hinted at ongoing secretive operations that Israel was conducting, stating, "We are doing things that I cannot share at this moment, but we are striking Iran very hard, and also Lebanon."

His remarks emerged amidst escalating hostilities involving Israel, the U.S., and Iran, marked by missile exchanges and armed confrontations that have raised alarm over the possibility of a broader regional conflict.

Simultaneously, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran renewed threats against Netanyahu, promising to track him down and kill him, labeling him as a "child-killer," assuming he is still living, as reported by Iran’s state-run news agency, the Islamic Republic News Agency.
