Mallam Suleiman Yusuf, the Chairman of the Mining Association in Udege-Mbeki, was abducted along with his manager, Joseph Uguedo, by armed assailants at his home during Iftar on March 16, 2026.

Armed gunmen have kidnapped Mallam Suleiman Yusuf, who serves as the Chairman of the Mining Association in Udege-Mbeki and holds the title of Madakin Hausawa in the Udege Chiefdom, located in the Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The abduction took place on Monday, March 16, 2026, around 7:10 p.m., while Mallam Yusuf was engaged in Iftar at his residence.

During the attack, the assailants invaded his home and forcibly took him along with his Mill Manager, Joseph Uguedo, to an undisclosed location.

Yahaya Abdulrahman, a relative of the victims, verified the incident and urged the public, friends, and supporters to keep the abductees in their prayers.
