A former chairman for Konshisha Local Government Area in Benue State, Hon Moses Shirsha, has tragically passed away. His death occurred just four days after the passing of his wife, Mercy Mngu.
Reports indicate that his wife, Mercy Mngu, died unexpectedly on March 25, 2026.
Following his wife's death, Moses Shirsha travelled to his village to begin arrangements for her burial. It was during this time, on March 29, that he reportedly slumped and died.
The couple are scheduled to be buried together on Friday, April 10, 2026, in Mbaasuku, Mbator Gaav, within Konshisha Local Government Area.
