According to an official statement released by the Command on Thursday, the Commissioner issued this mandate during a meeting with Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Heads of Tactical Units. He underscored the imperative of upholding the highest standards of professionalism in all policing duties.

Furthermore, Commissioner Sanusi issued a stern warning against any actions that could damage the reputation of the Nigeria Police Force and the FCT Command. He also emphasized the importance of strict adherence to human rights regulations. He encouraged the public to maintain law-abiding conduct and to report any suspicious individuals or activities without delay to the nearest police station.

In a related development, the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) has announced that its E-Reporting Portal is now fully functional. The Centre stated that the Inspector-General of Police encourages the public to utilize this platform for reporting all forms of cybercrime, including online fraud, identity theft, and cyberstalking.

The NPF-NCCC highlighted that the portal offers a secure, convenient, and efficient method for submitting complaints, thereby assisting law enforcement in promptly addressing cyber threats. The Force reiterated its commitment to ensuring the digital safety and security of all citizens.

Additionally, the public is advised to report instances of police misconduct directly to the Nigeria Police Force Provost Marshal or the Complaint Response Unit (CRU).
