Florida Woman Arrested for Self-Inflicted Injuries to Frame Boyfriend

A woman has been arrested in Florida after she allegedly admitted to causing injuries to herself in a bid to frame her boyfriend for the harm.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office reported that the incident escalated from a domestic disturbance call, leading to the woman's arrest when deputies determined she had inflicted injuries on herself and falsely accused her boyfriend.

Corporal Bowling responded to the residence in relation to the reported disturbance.

During the confrontation, it was reported that Angela Walczak intentionally struck her head against the corner of a wall, which resulted in a laceration.

Investigators revealed that Walczak claimed her boyfriend was responsible for her injury and even provided a sworn statement to that effect.

However, authorities later stated that Walczak confessed to having caused the injury herself in a scheme to get her boyfriend detained.

Consequently, Walczak was arrested and taken into custody.
