On Thursday, Abdulaziz Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the son of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who recently stepped down as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), visited the prominent leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, at his residence on Miller Road in Kano.
This visit witnessed a significant turnout of supporters hailing primarily from the Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano State, who gathered to renew their allegiance to the Kwankwasiyya Movement.
The event drew hundreds of supporters, showcasing a strong show of solidarity around the home of the former governor of Kano State and the presidential aspirant of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Earlier that day, Kwankwaso had visited the Singer Market in Kano, where he expressed his sympathy to traders affected by a recent fire incident.
The market visit attracted applauding crowds of traders and supporters, each welcoming his presence and gesture of support with enthusiasm.
However, shortly after these engagements, Kwankwaso was seen leaving Kano State, leading to speculation in some circles regarding the purpose of his trip, with some suggesting it might relate to medical treatment.
Nevertheless, the spokesperson for the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Captain Mansur Kurugu, refuted claims that the politician was traveling for health-related reasons.
