Gombe: DSS Secures Release of Six-Year-Old Boy, Apprehends Kidnapper

The Department of State Services (DSS) in Gombe State has successfully rescued a six-year-old boy, Mohammed Jabir, who was abducted by an individual identified as Salisu Hussain. The suspect allegedly lured the child away under the pretence of teaching him to ride a motorcycle.

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have successfully located and rescued a six-year-old boy named Mohammed Jabir. The child had been kidnapped from Gyada Village, located in Talase, within the Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State.

Investigations revealed that the abduction was carried out by a suspect identified as Salisu Hussain. Hussain reportedly deceived the boy by offering to teach him how to ride a motorcycle, a ploy that led to Mohammed's disappearance.

Following the report of the kidnapping, DSS operatives initiated a swift operation, which culminated in the safe recovery of the young boy. The agency also confirmed the arrest of the individual responsible for the abduction.
