Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has sanctioned the appointment of 13 new permanent secretaries, a decision intended to strengthen the administrative framework of the state’s civil service.

The official announcement regarding these appointments was made by the state government, highlighting their role in boosting efficiency, professionalism, and service delivery within vital ministries and agencies of the state.

As outlined by the government, “the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries were selected based on merit, experience, and competence, in alignment with ongoing reforms aimed at transforming the state’s public service for optimal performance.”

Governor Mohammed expressed his expectation that the new appointees will validate the trust placed in them by showcasing dedication, integrity, transparency, and a strong sense of duty.

He further encouraged them to synchronize their efforts with the administration’s objectives of promoting good governance and sustainable development within Bauchi State.

The following individuals have been appointed as permanent secretaries: Talatu Musa for Alkaleri LGA, Ibrahim Ahmed and Abubakar Abdullahi for Bauchi LGA, Mamman Dagauda for Dambam LGA, and Musa Datti for Giade LGA.

Others include Ibrahim Rufa’i from Katagum LGA, Sani Musa from Kirfi LGA, Abubakar Lamido from Misau LGA, Yamai Muhammad also from Misau LGA, Mohammed Barau from Ningi LGA, Umar Usman from Ningi LGA, Kani Muhammad from Shira LGA, Sama’ila Liman from Tafawa Balewa LGA, and Sabiu Gumba, also from Tafawa Balewa LGA.
