Governor Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State praised the women of his state in celebration of International Women’s Day, acknowledging their vital contributions to both social and economic advancement.

In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Linus Obogo, the governor emphasized that women play an essential role in driving progress across various sectors such as agriculture, commerce, education, and public service.
