A woman known as Gloria and her child have fallen victim to a kidnapping incident initiated by armed criminals in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Reports indicate that the assailants descended upon the Ungwan Tama community in Kwaturu Ward at approximately 1:30 AM on March 4, 2026, and subsequently took the victims away to an undisclosed location.

A woman and her child are seen being abducted in Kaduna.

Community leader, Speaker Jethro Daniel, reported the unfortunate occurrence on Facebook, informing that three individuals suffered injuries during the raid, while a married woman, her one-year-old daughter, and a 15-year-old boy were taken away.

He expressed his dismay over the brutality of the act, particularly the kidnapping of a baby, stating, "You can see how heartless these people can be, kidnapping a one-year-old baby, oh God. This attack is the second within ten days in the same Angwan Tama community. Please pray for Ungwan Tama, pray for Kachia, and pray for the Kachia leaders."

Bridget Peter, Gloria's sister, corroborated the event, revealing that bandits had invaded the same community on the evening of March 7, further raising concerns within the area.
