The alleged perpetrator, a 23-year-old known as Prince, who works as a palm wine tapper and is also referred to as "On God," was detained by the police after this horrific act.

The victims have been identified as 19-year-old Benedicta Kudjo, her mother Maame Mary Oppong aged 61, and 22-year-old Dora Adoma Kudjo.

The devastating loss has left friends and family grappling with their grief during this difficult time.

Reports indicate that a relative, identified as Madam Paulina, revealed that Prince had previously gone to the Kudjo family's home searching for his girlfriend, Benedicta, a student at Queen Senior High School. The family had warned him multiple times to refrain from approaching her, as they believed she should focus on her education and they did not endorse their relationship.

In spite of these warnings, Prince allegedly denied their requests, insisting on his feelings for Benedicta and expressing a desire to marry her. Tensions reportedly escalated after he issued threats in prior encounters.

Hours later, the family received alarming news that their home had been set ablaze.

Currently, the authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire as Prince remains in police custody.
