Kano Tragedy Claims Lives of Housewife and Her Four Children

In a shocking incident reported early on Saturday, a housewife along with her four children, which included an infant, was killed in their home in Kano. Sources indicate that the attack was carried out by unidentified assailants.

The appalling event took place when the attackers broke into the family's residence in the densely populated area of Dorayi Chiranci. Witness accounts reveal that the mother and three of her older children were killed, while the baby was discovered thrown into a well.

Isiyaka Yakubu, a local resident, stated that the entire neighborhood was engulfed in grief after a neighbor emerged from the victim's house screaming for assistance.

Although Yakubu could not pinpoint the perpetrators of this horrific act, he expressed his concern over the fear and tension now lingering in the community.

“This occurrence is very concerning and lacks any reasonable explanation. It took place early in the morning, and the atmosphere is tense. The neighbor who exited the house reported that everyone was found in a pool of blood. It was later discovered that a small infant had been discarded into a well in the yard,” Yakubu recounted.

“We have notified the authorities, and I trust that investigations will be undertaken to identify those responsible for this atrocious act. The residents of both Dorayi Chiranci and Dorayi Babba are unable to rest easy at night. Such violence has never taken place in this locality before,” he added.

Although the specific details surrounding the attack are still unclear, security personnel have stated that a probe has been initiated into this disturbing incident.
