Reality television personality Khloe Kardashian has recounted a difficult experience from her relationship with Lamar Odom, revealing that she once physically confronted him upon discovering he had restarted his drug use after his health scare in 2015.
In the Netflix documentary titled 'Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom,' Khloe talked about pausing her divorce process to look after Odom after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel back in October 2015.
Khloe shared that she relocated him to a residence near hers in California to aid in his recovery, but was devastated to learn that he had gone back to using drugs. "I just punched him in his face," she described her initial response after catching him smoking crack.
Furthermore, Khloe mentioned that she had originally thought Odom was still struggling to communicate following his medical episode, only to eventually realize he had been hiding his progress. "Lo and behold, he had a phone. He was better than I knew. He was playing me so I can continue this lifestyle for him," she stated.
This incident marked a significant change in their relationship, ultimately prompting Khloe to move forward with their divorce, which was finalized in 2016. The documentary also reflects on Odom’s near-fatal overdose and the impact it had on those closest to him.
