The Royal Family recently held a warm reception for Nigerians living in the UK to celebrate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s imminent visit to the country.

The gathering took place on the evening of March 11 at St. James's Palace, hosted by King Charles.

In an Instagram post shared on March 12, the royal family noted: "Last night, The King hosted a reception with members of the Nigerian Diaspora in the UK, ahead of the upcoming State Visit of the President of Nigeria.

"Featuring jollof rice and entertainment by Dele Sosimi and the Afrobeats Orchestra, it was a delightful evening. Our gratitude to everyone who participated!"

President Tinubu is anticipated to commence his state visit on Wednesday, March 18, accompanied by his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, starting with a reception at Windsor Castle.
