Tottenham Hotspur forwards Randal Kolo Muani and Wilson Odobert were involved in a minor traffic incident.

Manager Thomas Frank confirmed that the accident occurred while the two players were on their way to the airport with the rest of the team, stating that there were no significant injuries.

"Unfortunately, both were involved in a minor accident; everyone else involved is fine," Frank informed the media.

"The incident was caused by a tire blowout, which has led to a slight delay for the two players, but they will arrive later tonight. I am uncertain whether they were in the same vehicle, but they were together."

"I have not personally spoken with them yet, but the initial feedback I received is that they are okay. They are scheduled to depart later, and I expect both to be ready for tomorrow's match."

While Kolo Muani and Odobert are set to play, Tottenham will miss defenders Pedro Porro and Micky van de Ven as they aim for a top-eight finish to secure their place in the Champions League knockout stage.

"Pedro hasn’t traveled as he unfortunately sustained a hamstring injury that will keep him out for four weeks,” Frank mentioned. "Micky hasn’t traveled either; it’s just a minor issue, and we expect him to potentially return for the match against Manchester City. It’s not a hamstring injury."

Currently, Tottenham's injury list also includes players like James Maddison, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Bergvall, Dejan Kulusevski, and Richarlison.

Despite facing challenges in domestic competitions, Spurs have shown strength in Europe, suffering only one defeat in seven Champions League matches. That loss came at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, contrasting sharply with their performance in the Premier League, where they have secured only two victories from their last fourteen games.

"I believe we have been performing well in many respects, but we haven’t been fortunate enough to secure the wins we need," Frank added.

"For me, tomorrow's focus is entirely on Frankfurt and the opportunity before us."

Tottenham sits fifth in the Champions League rankings with 14 points, already assured of at least a playoff position, and a victory would guarantee them a spot in the top eight. Eintracht Frankfurt, on the other hand, has already been eliminated from the tournament.
