The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has expressed profound shock and sorrow regarding the murder of innocent farmers by unidentified attackers in the Keana Local Government Area of the state.

Governor Sule denounced the assault, labeling it as a senseless and unacceptable act of violence, and emphasized his administration's commitment to utilizing all available resources to ensure that the culprits face justice.

A statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Addra, and made public to reporters in Lafia noted that the governor made these remarks during a condolence visit to Dr. Umar Abubakar Apeshi, the Osoko of Oshoho, who recently lost his mother.

In his statement, Governor Sule revealed that he has directed security forces to begin an immediate investigation into the incident to ensure that the individuals responsible are caught and prosecuted.

He reiterated his firm collaboration with all stakeholders and security agencies in the pursuit of a peaceful coexistence within Nasarawa State.

The governor urged residents of the affected areas to remain calm and to assist law enforcement by providing any information that may lead to the identification and capture of the attackers.

As he extended his condolences to the Osoko of Oshoho for the loss of his mother, Governor Sule offered prayers for her soul and wished comfort to the grieving family.

The governor also reiterated his appeal for citizens to provide security agencies with valuable intelligence to avoid future incidents and promote safety throughout the state.
