Nigerian Man Expresses Gratitude to His Wife for Her Endless Support During His Year of Unemployment in the UK

Nduka Omeife, a Nigerian painter and graphic designer, has praised his wife for her unwavering love, respect, and support over the course of their 20-year marriage.

In a post shared on X, Nduka illustrated instances where his wife puts his happiness and well-being first, noting that she has never raised her voice in anger or spoken ill of him.

He emphasized the crucial emotional backing she provided during his period of unemployment after she brought him to the UK for one year.

During this time, Nduka said that his wife paid all household bills and managed additional expenses, showcasing her dedication.

He expressed amazement at the profound respect and love she has for him, stating that he had prayed for a good wife but felt he instead received a Guardian Angel.

"Bros, you see this woman thing ehh? Na my wife I fear pass o. She told me many years ago that the way you will die is dependent on the type of person you marry. Since our wedding day twenty years ago, she has never used any negative words on me," he shared.

"She has never raised her voice at me. She has never mo mi loju. What is mo mi loju in English self? Anyway, she has washed my clothes for two decades! Except for my suits while I was employed in the bank, she has bought all my clothes. Not once has she served me cold food since we married. I even had to push my way into the kitchen to cook. She brought me to the UK, where I did nothing for a year. She took care of all bills and other vital matters.

"Her respect soared in the UK! She is a devoted member of a Pentecostal church, and when I informed her I didn't want to attend Nigerian churches anymore, she responded, 'My husband, wherever you go, I will follow.'

"She instills the same respect in our children every day. When I argue with her, she does everything necessary to make peace. Isn't it tricky to run from this kind of woman? Every time it’s 'My husband, yes, sir, yes, but this is my opinion, dear.' I requested God for a wife, and He gave me a Guardian Angel," he concluded.
