Justice Bamidele Adeleye of the Ondo State High Court has sadly passed away.

This information was disclosed in a statement issued by Mr. Ayodeji Akinsanya, the Chief Registrar of the state High Court, on Friday in Akure.

“It is with deep sorrow that the Ondo State Judiciary announces the demise of Hon. Justice B. F. Adeyeye, respected jurist and serving Judge of High Court 5, Akure.

Justice Adeyeye left this world on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

“It is with profound sorrow and grief that we announce the passing of Justice Adeyeye, an exemplary figure of integrity, wisdom, and commitment to the cause of justice.

“Throughout his service on the bench, he was known for his steadfast dedication to fairness, equity, and the rule of law,” the statement noted.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted that Justice Adeyeye was held in high regard by his peers, legal professionals, and the public for his knowledge, humility, and impartiality when delivering justice.

The loss of Adeyeye is regarded as a significant blow not only to the judiciary but to the entire state and country.
