The Ugandan entertainment industry is mourning the tragic death of 24-year-old online personality and businesswoman, Namulinde Diana, popularly recognized as Diana Skys or Karichwife.
Diana's lifeless body was discovered in her apartment located in Kyanja, a scenic neighborhood in the capital city of Kampala, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
Authorities reported that her body was found after friends expressed concern for her well-being when she failed to respond to their calls.
Initial investigations suggest that Diana was a victim of aggravated robbery and assault at her home, perpetrated by unidentified attackers who fled the scene after committing the crime.
Her remains have been taken to the Mulago City Mortuary, while the Uganda Police Force (UPF) has launched an inquiry to uncover the events leading to her death.
Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Public Relations Officer for the Kampala Metropolitan Police, confirmed that a security guard from the building was apprehended earlier in the day with stolen goods in his possession.
Some of the recovered belongings have been identified as belonging to the deceased.
Two additional suspects are currently in police custody, providing assistance with ongoing investigations into Diana's murder.
The news of her death has prompted an outpouring of grief on social media from Ugandans, many of whom have shared tributes and condolences for her family.
