She elaborated on the ongoing measures designed to enhance protections for older individuals, foster dignity among them, and improve access to essential nutrition and social integration. Akinyemi-Obe believes that incorporating the elderly into national development strategies will contribute to cultivating a more self-sufficient society.

The Director-General also pointed out that interfaith and intergenerational initiatives are actively working to bridge divides between different age demographics, facilitating the transmission of core values and life experiences.

Addressing some of the concerns voiced by young Nigerians regarding the President's age and his leadership approach, she encouraged the youth to actively seek out mentorship and learn from the wisdom of older generations.

Regarding youth empowerment, she cited the student loan program as a significant reform aimed at broadening access to higher education and boosting national productivity. She further stressed the critical importance of vocational skills development in parallel with formal education.

Akinyemi-Obe downplayed concerns about political opposition in the lead-up to the 2027 elections, expressing strong confidence in Tinubu's leadership capabilities and Nigeria's ongoing economic recovery.

She concluded that the continuation of reforms and the implementation of inclusive policies would ultimately position Nigeria as a thriving, entrepreneurial nation propelled by an empowered youth population.
