Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are reportedly considering a move to the United States amidst the ongoing scrutiny surrounding her father, Prince Andrew, and his associations with Jeffrey Epstein.
Sources indicate that Beatrice and her sister, Princess Eugenie, are feeling "mortified" by the lingering effects of the scandal, despite lacking any evidence of wrongdoing on their part.
An insider revealed that staying in the UK might subject Beatrice to additional public scrutiny as new revelations arise, making a relocation to the US a more appealing choice. The source mentioned that such a move could provide them with a "fresh start," drawing parallels to Prince Harry's recent relocation to the US.
Further reports highlighted that Mozzi has been expanding his business interests in the US, particularly in cities like Los Angeles and Miami, where his design firm, Banda, has grown. "A move to the United States would certainly seem obvious for them... Edo spends a considerable amount of time there, so a shift seems plausible," the source commented.
The couple, who are parents to two daughters, have maintained a relatively private life following renewed focus on the Epstein case and its implications for royal family members. Additionally, Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, has faced backlash, including the revocation of an honorary title due to her past ties with Epstein.
This evolving situation has led to increased pressure on the royal family, with discussions suggesting that the couple is now contemplating their long- term future beyond the UK.
