Scott Iguma, known for his active commentary on social issues, has drawn attention to a troubling incident involving a motorist who purportedly assaulted a commercial bus driver on Falomo Bridge in Ikoyi on Tuesday, March 3.
According to Iguma, the altercation began when the driver of an SUV attempted to maneuver past a commercial bus. The bus driver, however, consistently obstructed the SUV, preventing it from overtaking. On seizing a brief opportunity to execute the maneuver, the SUV driver reportedly double-crossed the bus, exited his vehicle wielding a pestle, and forcibly removed the bus driver while threatening him with violence. Notably, Iguma mentioned that there was no collision between the vehicles that would justify such an aggressive response.
Further investigations revealed that the SUV was registered to a financial institution.
