However, as evidence started to surface, angry youths descended on their home, demanding that the suspects reveal the location of Orindu's body. The irate crowd subsequently compelled the siblings to unearth the remains from a shallow grave situated within their compound.

According to journalist Okeoma Chidiebube, who reported from the scene, the skeletal remains were displayed around the necks of the suspects while villagers rallied for justice.

Law enforcement officials from the Mbieri Divisional Headquarters, including the police chief, swiftly arrived to prevent the situation from escalating further, ensuring the safety of the brothers, recovering key evidence, and securing the remains for further investigation.

One of the accused, who works as a tricycle operator, alleged that their elder brother was responsible for the death of their father in a prior incident.

As of the latest updates, Henry Okoye, the police spokesperson for the state, has not yet released an official statement concerning this case.
