The document instructs the political appointees to hand over their responsibilities to the Permanent Secretaries or, in their absence, to the most senior civil servant within their respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The handover process must be completed by the end of the workday, pending the formation of a new cabinet.

The circular reads, “I am directed to inform all political appointees to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior civil servant in the various MDAs on or before the close of work today, until a new cabinet is constituted.”

Additionally, the governor has requested that all members of the first-term cabinet convene on March 23 at 10 a.m. in the Anambra State Executive Council Chambers.

This directive marks a significant shift in the administrative landscape of Anambra, reflecting Soludo's intentions for his second term in office.
