Tragedy struck on Wednesday at Refinery Junction, situated close to the Effurun Roundabout in Delta State, following a severe vehicular collision. Eyewitness accounts indicate that a fully loaded tanker, descending from the flyover at a high velocity, reportedly went out of control.

The out-of-control tanker subsequently crashed into an oncoming tricycle, commonly known as a 'keke,' and a Toyota Corolla vehicle. The force of the collision was catastrophic, leading to the immediate demise of both the keke rider and a passenger traveling in the tricycle.
