A woman found herself homeless, with her belongings discarded outside, due to a conflict between her landlord and his brother.

This incident was shared by the woman, known as MarthyCee on TikTok, who posted a video showing her possessions outside the residence just two weeks post-renewal of her lease.

She stated that her landlord had collected the rental payment despite being embroiled in a legal battle with his brother, who had already sold the same house.

Belongings of the evicted tenant strewn outside the apartment.

Consequently, the woman and other tenants were forcibly evicted while their possessions were scattered, and this eviction was recorded on video.

In her TikTok post, she lamented, "Nigeria just happened to me. The injustice in this country is alarming. I woke up to this drama less than two weeks after paying my rent.

"Apparently, the house was sold by one of the brothers, while the landlord we knew still received our rent, despite being locked in a legal dispute with his brother over the property. As many of us are students, we felt powerless. They broke down the doors and tossed everyone’s things out. Just like that, we are now homeless while they refuse to refund our rent."

A video of the situation was shared, highlighting the circumstances surrounding the eviction.

The video can be viewed below.
