Terem Moffi, the Super Eagles forward, has reached an agreement to transfer on loan to Portuguese club FC Porto for the current season.
As reported by L'Équipe, the Nigerian international arrived in Portugal on Thursday, having secured an initial agreement with Porto. The deal includes an €8 million option to buy the player and a 10% sell-on clause.
This transfer comes after Moffi's turbulent time at his former club OGC Nice, where he was subjected to physical violence by fans following the team's loss to Lorient. His teammate, Jeremie Boga, experienced a similar situation, and both players have been on leave since December 1.
Moffi had garnered interest from various clubs across Europe, including Turkish side Besiktas, but they were unable to finalize a deal in time, allowing FC Porto to swiftly complete the transfer.
