Troops from Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), working alongside community vigilantes, have detained two individuals believed to be terrorists in Digare Village, located within the Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The arrests took place around 7:30 p.m. on March 22, 2026, during a mission triggered by actionable intelligence.
The suspects are currently in custody as investigations continue to assess their involvement in terrorist activities and any potential connections to other criminal networks.
The military has stated that measures are being reinforced to maintain operations that will restrict terrorists' operational capabilities in the region.
