Governor Uba Sani commended President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, stating it is characterized by courage, a clear vision, and a steadfast commitment to transforming Nigeria toward sustainable advancement.
He expressed that ‘under the Renewed Hope Agenda, our country is experiencing bold reforms that are establishing a strong foundation for long-term growth and collective prosperity.’
In the realm of agriculture and agribusiness, Sani noted that targeted initiatives are driving productivity, improving farmer confidence, and reinforcing food systems nationwide.
He stated that ‘in the oil and gas sector, comprehensive reforms are promoting efficiency, enhancing transparency, and safeguarding the future of our energy sector.’
The Governor made these comments during his opening speech at the All Progressives Congress (APC) North West Zonal Congress held on Wednesday.
He highlighted that ‘through effective fiscal and tax policies, the administration is stabilizing the economy and paving the way for inclusive development.’
Sani also remarked that ‘the introduction of the Student Loan Scheme has created new opportunities for our youth, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, ensuring that financial limitations do not impede their educational progress.’
According to him, there are significant investments in infrastructure throughout the nation, including developments in roads, rail, and energy, which are reconnecting communities, boosting commerce, and unlocking fresh economic opportunities.
As the Coordinating Governor of APC Northwest Zone, Uba Sani stated that ‘these accomplishments are tangible, visible, and impactful. They are transforming lives.’
“In Kaduna State and throughout the North-West, we are direct beneficiaries of this intentional leadership,” he added.
He pointed out that ‘there has been an improvement in security, farmers are returning to their farms, markets are revitalizing, and there is a gradual restoration of confidence in our communities. These successes reinforce our conviction that the path we have chosen as a Party is correct.’
Sani emphasized to the delegates that ‘this Congress extends beyond leadership selection; it serves to fortify our unity, enhance our structures, and align our strategies for the future.’
He urged the delegates to engage in this process with fairness, discipline, and accountability, adding that ‘let our behavior exemplify the democratic principles we hold dear.’
Governor Sani welcomed Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State and Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Governor of Kano State, into the APC, along with their many supporters.
“We embrace you warmly, in a spirit of unity, respect, and common purpose. Your choice to join the APC is not merely significant, but it profoundly strengthens the vision, depth, and national perspective of our Party,” he proclaimed.
