Following his success, he expressed gratitude on Instagram, stating, "Teamwork makes the dream work. Thank you to my core team, my IG family for the continuous support, and the entire CTFROT organization. I owe this to you all."

Ugochukwu, born in New York, has dual Nigerian and American heritage, being the son of renowned Nigerian fashion model Oluchi Onweagba and Italian fashion designer Luca Orlandi.

His accolades also include winning the Euro 4 title and finishing third in the UAE F4 Championship.

In 2024, he participated in both the Formula Regional Middle East and European Championships, finishing in seventh and eleventh positions respectively, while also claiming 13th place in the GB3 Championship, concluding the year with a victory at the Macau Grand Prix.

With the Formula Regional Oceania championship now under his belt, Ugochukwu is set to advance to his second season in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Campos Racing, with the season opener scheduled to take place during the Australian Grand Prix from March 6–8, 2026.
