A well-known event planner, Mina Orupabo, was shot by unidentified gunmen in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to reports, Mina, who is the owner of Special Bensington Ushers, was attacked on Thursday evening, March 19, 2026, at around 8 PM, while she was near Total Gospel Road off Peter Odili Road.
Reports indicate that she was en route to an event venue for a pre-event inspection when gunfire erupted.
Her driver and one other person accompanying her were able to flee the scene.
After being transported to a nearby hospital, Mina unfortunately passed away on Saturday.
