Wizkid and Asake Unveils 'Jogodo' as the First Track from Their Upcoming Joint EP

The moment has finally arrived! The highly anticipated collaboration, which fans have hoped for since their initial joint track, has been unveiled.

Wizkid and Asake have surprised listeners with the release of 'Jogodo', the lead single from their first-ever joint EP titled 'Real (Vol. 1)'.

The artists initially hinted at this collaborative project during a takeover on Apple Music Radio back in December 2025, describing it as an artistic representation of their authentic friendship that stands strong outside the confines of the music business. The track embodies a carefree and enjoyable vibe, with 'Jogodo' cleverly alluding to the joyful, exuberant experiences associated with nightlife in Lagos.

Their on-stage chemistry was vividly highlighted at Asake's groundbreaking Red Bull Symphonic performance held at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre in November 2025. The highlight of the concert featured Wizkid joining Asake on stage to perform their song 'MMS', accompanied by a 33-piece orchestra. This live performance foreshadowed the duo's current collaboration, revealing how seamlessly their distinct musical styles blend together.

Now that 'Jogodo' is available to fans, they can eagerly anticipate the complete EP 'Real (Vol. 1)', which is scheduled for release on January 23, 2026.
