Ken Imansuagbon, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has urged Nigerians to unite in opposition to President Bola Tinubu's bid for a second term.

Imansuagbon made this appeal in Ewohimi, located in the Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State, during a gathering where he welcomed defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The group of defectors was led by Chief Clifford Eineh, a former PDP official, who characterized their move as part of a larger political realignment in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. While addressing his supporters, Imansuagbon emphasized that citizens at both the state and federal levels must be ready to firmly reject the current administration, which he claims has not succeeded in fulfilling its obligations.

He further stated that the electorate in Edo would also oppose any efforts by Governor Monday Okpebholo to secure a second term. According to Imansuagbon, the influx of new members joining the ADC indicates a growing public trust in the party as a credible alternative for governance.
