Aproko Doctor Clarifies Misconceptions about Abortion and Fibroids

Aproko Doctor, a well-known online health expert, has rejected the assertion that women who undergo abortions are more prone to developing fibroids.

The medical professional made these statements in response to concerns raised by women on the platform X regarding the increasing occurrence of fibroids in young women.

One user on X shared her experience of meeting a 25-year-old who had been diagnosed with fibroids at the age of 23. Another individual echoed these worries and expressed confusion about how fibroids can develop in women younger than 30, criticizing self-proclaimed pastors who have falsely claimed that fibroids are the result of having abortions.

In contradiction to these claims, Aproko Doctor explained that the development of fibroids is primarily associated with genetic predispositions, hormonal imbalances, and the racial background of the individuals. He emphasized that Black women are at a higher risk for this condition.

The doctor addressed the misconceptions directly, aiming to educate the public on the real causes of fibroids and dispel the myths surrounding abortion and fibroid risks.
