A woman testified in a London court that her life was preserved thanks to Barron Trump when he saw her being assaulted by her former boyfriend.

The son of the US President dialed UK authorities after he picked up a FaceTime call and witnessed Matvei Rumianstev purportedly hitting the unnamed woman.

It has been alleged that Rumianstev, 22, felt jealous about her relationship with Donald Trump’s youngest son.

During the hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court, a dramatic recording was played in which Barron informed 999 operators, "I just got a call from a girl I know. She’s getting beaten up."

The emergency call was placed at 2:23 AM on January 18 of the previous year.

After providing the woman’s location, he reiterated, "It’s really an emergency, please. I received a call from her with a guy hitting her."

Body camera footage showcased police officers questioning the woman about whether Rumianstev had been streaming during the alleged incident.

The officers mentioned that someone from the US had reached out, although his name wasn't disclosed.

Eventually, she revealed, "I am friends with Barron Trump, Donald Trump's son."

Barron Trump’s Facetime Call Witnessed Attack

After she described the earlier Facetime call, one of the officers was heard saying to a colleague, "So this informant from America is likely to be Donald Trump’s son."

He added, "This woman is friends with Donald Trump’s son. She was on a Facetime with him when this attack happened, and he’s contacted us."

The officers then inquired if she could reach out to him again for confirmation, and she was heard asking, "Hello, Barron – did you call the police or anything?"

Mr. Trump responded, "I had someone call the police."

He further informed the officers, "She called me. I picked up the phone expecting a pleasant greeting or something.

"Instead, I just saw a ceiling and could hear screams. I could see a guy’s head on the screen, and then the camera switched to her crying and being struck."

Mr. Trump mentioned that this went on for about 10 to 15 seconds before the call disconnected.

He expressed, "I called you all – that was the best thing I could do. I wasn't going to call back and threaten him because that would only escalate the situation."

While giving her testimony, the woman characterized the call to Barron Trump as a divine intervention.

She disclosed to the jurors, "he would call me," indicating she had missed several calls from him prior to the call that ultimately led to him alerting the authorities.

During cross-examination, Rumiantsev’s lawyer, Sasha Wass KC, questioned her on her claim that Barron Trump’s call "saved your life."

She affirmed, "He helped save my life. That call felt like a sign from God at that moment."

The woman recounted that she was "on my knees begging" but the call empowered her to stand back up.

Jurors learned that she had been in a relationship with Rumiantsev for approximately six months during which the alleged assaults occurred.

She accused him of assault, including strangulation, after they had an argument.

Months later, she lodged another complaint with police about being sexually abused by Rumiantsev.

She reported that he had raped her twice, once in November 2024 and once just hours before the police arrived on January 18.

Rumiantsev is also accused of attempting to coerce the woman into retracting her allegations.

Ms. Wass suggested Rumiantsev had restrained the woman after she acted "in an angry and violent way" towards him that evening.

She accused her of fabricating her account entirely.

Concerning the sexual assault allegations, the barrister asserted, "You made up this wholly untrue and fabricated story that he raped you on those two occasions – you were never raped."

The woman responded, "I didn’t invent that. That would be utterly evil and disgraceful toward those who have experienced such situations."

The Russian defendant, residing at New Providence Wharf in East London, denies charges including assault, ABH, two counts of rape, intentional strangulation, and tampering with justice.

Proceedings in the trial are ongoing.
