Chelsea Expected to Conclude Raheem Sterling's Departure Before Monday

Chelsea FC is set to finalize the exit of Raheem Sterling in the coming days, as the forward is nearing a move following ongoing negotiations.

Discussions are currently taking place between the club and Sterling’s agents, with both sides keen to have the situation resolved before Monday. Chelsea has expressed a willingness to allow the England international to leave, as all parties look to conclude the matter swiftly.

Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that talks are progressing well. In a recent update on social media platform X, Romano noted that Sterling is prepared to make his move as negotiations advance.

"Raheem Sterling is anticipated to depart from Chelsea in the next few days and is ready to finalize the transition soon. Chelsea and the player's representatives are engaged in discussions to reach a solution prior to Monday, with Chelsea ready to facilitate his exit. Talks are ongoing between the involved parties," Romano stated.

Sterling made his move to Chelsea from Manchester City in 2022 and has played a role in the team's attacking lineup. However, his future at Stamford Bridge has been in question due to limited playtime this season.

The winger has been associated with several prospective clubs as he seeks to gain regular playing opportunities. Reports indicate that Sterling has yet to make an appearance this season and was required to train separately after failing to secure a transfer away from Chelsea prior to the August 2025 transfer window.
