Edo State's Deputy Governor, Hon Dennis Idahosa, has categorically dismissed any allegations of discord with his superior, Governor Monday Okpebholo.
He stressed that attempts to undermine their relationship by instigating conflict between them "are futile from the outset."
Idahosa expressed these sentiments in a statement he personally authored, responding to social media reports that suggested a disagreement between him and the governor.
"I have become aware that certain individuals, unhappy with the collaborative spirit between Senator Monday Okpebholo and myself, have taken to spreading false stories online in a misguided effort to create division," he stated.
He urged those involved in such actions to redirect their efforts toward constructive matters that would enhance the governor's SHINE Agenda.
Idahosa indicated that they are merely bothered by the effective governance demonstrated by Governor Okpebholo’s administration.
"I, Dennis Idahosa, stand unwaveringly with my boss, as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. I align completely with his position and principles," he affirmed.
Moreover, he added that any attempts to fracture their bond or diminish their partnership would be unsuccessful, emphasizing that those behind such actions are simply squandering their efforts.
