A compelling new film, 'The Night of June 7th,' is slated for release, bringing the deeply unfortunate and true story of the 'Apo Six' to the screen. The incident, which tragically claimed the lives of six young individuals, occurred on June 7th, 2005. The friends had gathered to celebrate a birthday at a nightclub, only for their lives to be cut short after an encounter with a Deputy Commissioner of Police.
Drawing inspiration from these actual events, 'The Night of June 7th' aims to captivate audiences through its detailed narrative and impactful performances.
The film features a notable cast including Femi Branch, Ali Nuhu, Gideon Okeke, and Charles Lenny.
It was conceived and produced by Linda Ikeji, with Toka Mcbaror directing the project.
