In a recent event that has drawn significant attention online, a man from Georgia was arrested after verbally assaulting a security guard using racial slurs in an Atlanta suburb. Robert John Burke, charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct, was involved in the incident that took place outside the Social Security Administration office in Gwinnett County on January 14, Wednesday. His booking photo revealed him glaring intensely at the camera.

The footage shows Burke aggressively shouting racial insults at the security personnel, disparagingly using the n-word repeatedly while appearing to get ready to strike. He was eventually seen walking away, continuing to scream slurs over his shoulder. This confrontation reportedly occurred in front of the Social Security Administration office located in Norcross.

Upon police arrival, Burke had already left the scene, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant. On the following Thursday, he caused another disturbance at the Courtyard Marriott hotel where he was residing. Staff members reported his aggressive behavior, requesting that police remove him and impose a criminal trespass order.

According to the police documentation, Burke was described as “aggressive, yelling at staff, and reportedly talking to himself.” Initially, he resisted leaving his hotel room but eventually complied with officers' requests. Burke mentioned to the police that he has a history of schizophrenia, paranoia, and other mental health issues. He was subsequently taken into custody and later released on a bond set at $1,000.
