Governor Dauda Lawal has given the go-ahead for the construction of a 95-kilometre road that will link multiple communities in the Tsafe Local Government Area. This venture is being regarded as the longest road project awarded by his government in that region.
The approval was made during a State Executive Council meeting convened by the governor at the Government House situated in Gusau.
As expressed by the governor, this road is set to enhance connectivity across the eastern section of the local government, thereby facilitating the movement of people and goods throughout the area.
In a post shared on his social media platform, Lawal mentioned that this project was approved as part of the ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure in rural regions.
“The 95km road spans from Yandoton Daji to Chediya, Doka to ‘Yan Waren Daji, Hayin Alhaji to Bedi, Unguwar Joji, ‘Yankuzo, concluding in Tsafe,” he elaborated.
He also noted that this infrastructure initiative is anticipated to bolster connectivity among the relevant communities and promote economic activities across this route.
