Renowned action movie star Chuck Norris has died at the age of 86.
The news of his passing was shared by his family in a statement issued today, March 20.
With heavy hearts, the family announced, "It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. Please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace."
Just 10 days prior to his death, Chuck celebrated his 86th birthday on March 10.
Norris became widely recognized in the 1980s with popular karate-themed films such as ‘A Force of One’ and ‘An Eye for an Eye,’ and later solidified his fame as Cordell Walker in the series ‘Walker, Texas Ranger!’
He is survived by his wife, Gena O’Kelley, and his five children: twins Dakota and Danilee, along with Dina, Eric, and Mike from earlier relationships.
