Nollywood actor Jide Kene Achufusi recently held his traditional Igbo wedding ceremony, known as Igba Nkwu, with his wife Ifeoma in Anambra. He shared captivating images from the event, which drew significant attention from fans who had previously been introduced to Ifeoma through the #JideIfe26 hashtag.

The Igba Nkwu is a significant traditional rite in Igbo culture, where the bride formally accepts her suitor in the presence of their community. The ceremony is renowned for its vibrant cultural expressions, and the couple's fashion choices were a highlight. Ifeoma chose a striking sculptural gown crafted over a black lace base with sheer sleeves. The bodice was adorned with intricate gold and bronze beadwork and metallic floral embellishments. A distinctive feature of her attire was the architectural shoulder design, creating wing-like shapes that framed her face. Her skirt was fashioned from the classic Isi-Agu fabric, distinguished by its metallic lion-head motifs. The gown culminated in a voluminous black satin train that spread out in a circular fashion. She completed her regal look with an elegant updo and a white feather fan.
