He further remarked on the significance of the members’ ability to choose their representatives, highlighting, "This passion is a joy, it makes the club special, so thanks to Barça and all the members that voted today in a display of democracy."

The overall voter participation was noted to be 42.34%, with 114,504 members eligible to vote in the election. Many prominent figures, including current and former presidents, coaches, and players, participated in the voting process at the Spotify Camp Nou, with figures like coach Hansi Flick and members of the senior men's team casting their ballots.

Laporta added, "The result itself is conclusive, and it gives us a lot of strength -- so much strength that it will make us unstoppable. We will keep defending Barcelona against everything and everyone. The upcoming years will be thrilling. They will be the best of our lives."

Coincidentally, the election took place on the same day FC Barcelona secured a 5-2 victory over Sevilla in LaLiga. Following the match, coach Flick and several players, including Raphinha, Pedri, and Dani Olmo, exercised their voting rights.

In a pre-vote press conference, Flick stated, "I won't tell you who [I will vote for] because it's a secret. It's a special day. I watched the election proceedings on television in my office at the stadium; it's special. I think everyone is also happy; it was a great day."
