Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State

Malam Ahmed Maiyaki, the Commissioner for Information, stated in a release from Kaduna that the governor has neither endorsed nor expressed any preference for any aspirants seeking electoral positions.

Maiyaki described the circulating message as a "figment of the imagination" of its creators, stressing that it does not represent the stance of the Kaduna State Government.

He further affirmed that the governor is dedicated to upholding democratic principles and believes that party members and stakeholders should have the autonomy to choose candidates through proper constitutional methods.

According to the commissioner, any implication that the governor has supported specific candidates is incorrect and misleading. He cautioned individuals and groups against disseminating false information and politically charged misinformation that could unnecessarily escalate tensions within the political landscape.
