The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Jibril Isma’il Falgore, officiated the swearing-in ceremony of two newly elected members on Tuesday.

Both legislators were victorious in recent by-elections conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which were prompted by vacancies in their constituencies.

Their elections were part of supplementary polls rolled out across the state to bring new people into the Assembly, filling seats that became vacant due to previous legal challenges and political shifts.

The new lawmakers emerged from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and take over the positions of their fathers, who passed away on the same day in December of last year.

After taking their oaths of office, Sa’adu committed to diligently serving the people of Ungogo and to uphold their interests, emphasizing the mandate entrusted to him.

In his remarks, Daneji assured the residents of Kano Municipal of his dedication to fulfilling their expectations alongside his colleague, underlining their commitment to accountable representation.
