Masquerade Interrupts Musician During Performance at Anambra Event

A video depicting the moment a masquerade assaulted a musician on stage has circulated widely on social media.

At the royal ofala festival, the artist was entertaining Igwe Michael Okechukwu of Awgbu kingdom in Anambra state along with the audience, when the masquerade unexpectedly jumped onto the stage and attacked him.

The reasons for this abrupt assault by the masquerade remain unclear.
