The All Progressives Congress (APC) successfully conducted elections for a new state executive committee in Kano State.
The voting took place on Tuesday night, culminating in the selection of Haruna Doguwa as the party's new state chairperson.
Doguwa, who formerly held the position of Commissioner for Water Resources in Kano State, stepped down from his role to pursue this leadership position within the party.
In addition to Doguwa, other key appointments include Salisu Maje-Gwangwazo as deputy chairperson, Yusuf Sabo-Bichi taking on the role of state secretary, and Fatima Dala being named state woman leader.
The newly formed leadership team is made up of 28 members, aimed at enhancing the party's internal unity and gearing up for upcoming political challenges.
