Nwakego Nworie, a Nigerian woman, has called on men to place their wives first regarding significant purchases, such as cars. In a Facebook post dated Tuesday, March 3, she insisted that husbands should ensure their wives are provided for before attending to their mothers' needs.
In her statement, she wrote, “Before you buy a car for your mum, make sure your wife has one.” Nwakego emphasized that men should focus on securing their wives before attempting to impress relatives.
She continued, “Your woman deserves the best at all times; you must place her above your mother's needs. Your wife plays a crucial role in your life—she is not just a temporary guest; she is your partner, your supporter, your home.”
Further stressing her point, she stated, “While relatives hold significance, your wife serves as the cornerstone of your family. A man who disregards his wife to please others is only erecting superficial honors while causing personal suffering.”
Nwakego concluded by asserting, “When your wife feels appreciated, honored, and cared for, it naturally benefits everyone around.”
