Businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, more widely known as Obi Cubana, has expressed his appreciation for the Federal Government's measures aimed at enhancing security in the South-East region. He remarked that these improvements were particularly noticeable during the recent festive season.

Iyiegbu made his comments in Abuja following a hosting event for Seyi Tinubu, who was recently appointed as the South-East Coordinator of the City Boy Movement.

According to him, both residents and visitors were able to celebrate without the apprehension that typically overshadowed earlier festive seasons.

"For the first time in a long while, we returned home in December and truly enjoyed Ala Igbo," he added. He attributed these advancements to intentional actions taken against insecurity within the region.

Iyiegbu also highlighted that the benefits of improved security were not only social but also had positive economic implications.

"When people feel safe, families reconnect and businesses return," he noted.

Discussing his political stance, he emphasized the importance of engaging with those in positions of authority to maintain security improvements and promote development.

"The advancement of the South-East should be a collective endeavor, set aside from politics," he stated, insisting that genuine progress necessitates access to leadership.

He firmly believes that substantial change arises from collaborative engagement rather than isolation.

Additionally, he praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commenting on leadership and inclusivity.

"Our nation's leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a man of commerce, and achieving our national aspirations requires unity," he remarked. He emphasized that preserving peace in the South-East involves cooperation beyond political and regional divisions.

"Peace must be safeguarded, and development ought to ensue," he concluded.
